Girlfriend Collective attach great importance to transparency in the production chain. They work with a production facility that guarantees by certificate that its employees are paid fair and work in a safe environment.
Girlfriend Collective process recycled polyester, recycled nylon and cupro, a waste product from the cotton industry.
The production takes place in a factory in Taiwan, which is specialized in environmentally friendly and high quality textiles. Girlfriend Collective also produce in an SA8000 certified production facility in Hanoi, Vietnam.
The yarn for further processing is obtained emission-free in a zero-waste process in Japan.
