To heat the pillow in the microwave, simply remove the cover and place the pillow as flat as possible on the turntable. Heat in 30 second intervals until desired temperature is reached. Shake the pillow between intervals to distribute the heat evenly. First test the temperature carefully on the back of your hand or forearm. To use as a cold compress, simply place the cushion in the fridge or freezer for a few hours.
