Fair & responsible
For Mouleta, fair trade is more than just a concept, it is a question of attitude. Mouleta regularly checks the working conditions in Kathmandu. It is important for the label that the work and break rooms are brightly designed with daylight, sufficient fresh air and plenty of space. In particular, the equality of women and men in the work processes and the traditional craft processes on site is of great importance to Mouleta, because equality is a universal human right.
Natural & untreated
All scarves are made from 100% cashmere and contain no chemical additives.
Controlled organic & certified
In 2021, the production facility in Kathmandu was awarded by the "Nepal Pashmina Industries Association" for its sustainable and environmentally conscious production of cashmere products.
Sustainable & durable
Hand-felted cashmere - that is what the Mouleta brand stands for. The scarves are distinguished by their outstanding quality, high wearing comfort and a particularly long service life. Cashmere wool is obtained from the dense undercoat of cashmere goats. The fine hair can only be carefully combed out by hand once a year when the fur is changed. Only about 180 grams of wool can be obtained from a cashmere goat per year. This sustainable way of obtaining wool makes cashmere one of the most valuable yarns in the world.
Place of manufacture
The cashmere scarf from Mouleta is washed in a unique process in the production facility in Nepal and felted carefully by hand.
