Application: Hold the hibi stick in the middle so that it does not break and light it on the brown rubbing surface of the box like a match. Hold the lit stick in a slightly tilted position with its head down. Wait until the flame has spread to the incense stick and extinguished itself. Place the incense stick on the non-combustible stand and enjoy the fragrance for about 10 minutes.

It is safe to place the stand on a table as it is equipped with heat insulation. If you like, you can also place it on the pull-out lid of the hibi box. Stay close by while the hibi is burning and burn only one incense stick at a time to avoid overheating the stand.
