The cork cells are closed, so dust and dirt cannot penetrate the mat, meaning it needs to be cleaned less often than other mats. The self-cleaning properties of the cork surface make the mat easy to maintain.

The underside of the mat is made of natural rubber with 15% recycled content.In this way, Lotuscrafts ensures that the mat has good cushioning and lies securely on the floor. The natural rubber also makes the mat elastic and therefore more durable.

Chemicals can be avoided by using a process in which the natural rubber in liquid form (latex) is coated directly onto the cork.These are required in conventional processes when two materials are glued together. The bond between the two raw materials is also much more stable than when materials are glued together.

The mat comes in a lovingly designed paper envelope, which you can use as gift wrap.Lotuscrafts is particularly pleased to be able to do without plastic.

A little tip: At the beginning of your practice, you can slightly moisten your hands and feet to ensure you have a great grip right from the start.

Please do not clean with soap or in the machine

After your practice, you can simply clean the mat with a soft, slightly damp cloth and our organic yoga mat spray. Then simply dry it with a dry cloth.
