Wellicious believes in sustainable yoga wear. It should give you the freedom to concentrate 100% on your yoga practice - without having to worry about your ecological footprint. According to the non-profit association Fashion Revolution, it takes anywhere from 20 to 200 years for the elastane used in sportswear to decompose. The higher the elastane content, the longer the disintegration process takes. Furthermore, the normal dyeing process leaves traces of color in the waste water - which not only pollutes the environment, but can also be unhealthy for our skin. That's why Wellicious aims to design yoga wear that is safe for both customers and the environment.
At the heart of our Wellicious Cradle-to-Cradle Certified™ yoga collection is a biological cycle. This means that all Wellicious products are designed to be used over and over again. Once a Wellicious product is ready to be recycled, it breaks down into organic nutrients, promoting the production of biological nutrients and systems such as plant growth.

All products have been certified by the "Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute" and awarded the "Gold Standard" overall. They were even awarded the highest award, "Platinum", for material health. This means that no traces of microplastics from production are left in the sea or in the soil.
