Half of this article is made of GOTS-certified organic cotton and the other half is made of modal. The modal fibers are manufactured using the patented Edelweiss® process from Lenzing®, which has proven to be particularly energy- and resource-efficient. The natural cellulose is extracted from the trunks of European beeches and processed into modal fibers. 95% of the chemicals used in production can be recovered, creating a closed loop system.
